Sometimes, I get excited about little things, like the glossy card in the new Stampin' Up! catalogue. Yes, really, plain, white, shiny card. Let me tell you why!
When I first started rubberstamping, I read everything I could get my hands on to learn techniques and tricks and some of the techniques need a glossy card as your base. I've been refreshing my memory of these techniques and I'm going to be showcasing them over the next few weeks.
One of the first techniques I tried when I began stamping was Versamark resist stamping. It creates a beautiful, subtle effect that's great for creating backgrounds - like in this card in shades of green.
