Simply Sketched Saturday - 3

Thank you for joining us for another Simply Sketched Saturday Challenge! We’re so excited to be sharing this hop with you.  The products used are all available in the current Annual, or seasonal, Stampin’ Up!® Catalogues*.  Simply use the buttons at the bottom of the post to keep hopping!

This week it's the lovely Angelina Clark setting the challenge, and this is the sketch she chose -

And here's my interpretation, inspired by Wedgwood pottery.

Marina Mist makes a good substitute for Wedgwood Blue, I think, and it's not a colour I've used much.  I really like it on this card, though  - and I also thought that the flowers on the DSP looked a bit (a tiny bit) like snowflakes.  I'll put a list of everything I used at the bottom of this post but meanwhile, it's on to the
which is Angelina's.  But if you're a rebel you could always go to the
and go backwards through the blogs.  Thank you for visiting and I'll see you soon!

Flying Robin Card

Hello bloggers, welcome to my blog!

It's starting to feel that Christmas is getting near now.  It's turned much colder hereabouts , after days of rain coming in sideways (Storm Barney was doing his worst!).  OK, I'm a big kid, but I always hope for a white Christmas - and we don't get one very often at all.  We do see plenty of robins and holly bushes, though.

Today I'm showing you this Flying Robin card, which I made using the Bird Builder punch.  Here's the tutorial -

Here's what I used to make it -

Peace on Earth

Hello blog friends.  Thanks for joining me today.

I made and filmed this project some time ago  - I work a few weeks ahead whenever I can.  Given the events at Paris at the weekend, the sentiment seems particularly appropriate right now.

Here's the tutorial -

I'll be back on Saturday with the latest Simply Sketched challenge.  See you then.
