Daisy Springer Card

Hello everyone, and welcome.

I've been waiting and waiting to demonstrate with the Daisy punch. I got mine in the demonstrator pre-order before the catalogue launch. I think every other Stampin' Up! demonstrator did as well, because SU ran out of punches. The result was a serious shortage until such time as SU could re-stock. And they are made overseas...

Anyway, I decided not to tease you by showing you projects with items you couldn't get - but I just can't hold back any longer. In case you're wondering, the punches are due in stock soon. (The moral of the story is - there are some BIG advantages to being a demonstrator - and especially to joining in July 2017)

Springer cards are lots of fun and really easy to make. Here's how I made this one -

My Greatest Fan!

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog. July already, and Stampin’Up! have launched the Bonus Days promotion for the month. The weather’s been a bit warmer lately and I’ve been feeling the need of a cooling breeze. Under those conditions, a paper fan is a handy thing to have around and it looks like a lot of people agree with me, because a quick search on Pinterest turned up quite a few versions!

This is my attempt. It was very easy to make and would probably be something that an older child could manage, maybe with some help with gluing the sticks in place. Because both sides of the fan show when it’s open, double sided paper (where both surfaces are pretty) works best. I used Delightful Daisy. Here’s the tutorial –

Oh, if you noticed that the sound in the tutorial was a bit different - there was an airshow going on overhead while I was recording the tutorial - so rather than explaining things as I went along (complete with the sound of the Red Arrows flying past my front window) I’ve added the instructions as a voice-over.
