Folding Screen Card

Hello bloggists!  Can you believe it's April tomorrow?  That means that Sale-A-Braton is almost over, so if you're had your eye on some of the goodies you can earn for free (everyone's favourite price!) then it's now or never.  (And if you've been thinking about joining Stampin' Up! then today's the last day that you get extra value in your starter kit.)

The good news is the the Spring/Summer catalogue is still open for business, and I've been playing with some of my favourite items  from the Botanical Gardens suite.

I've been wanting to make one of these folding screen cards for some time - and my favourite, favourite DSP looks just great, don't you think?

Here's how I went about it -

Why not give it a try yourself?

See you again soon!

Going Global

Hello bloggists!  Today I made a teepee card.  Being a bit of a Sci-fi geek (I met my husband at a Star Trek convention - and yes, we were both in costume) the shape when folded reminds me of a Star Trek com badge - or an arrowhead.

I like the way this card folds up to fit in an envelope, too.  You could decorate this shape in lots of ways but this time I thought I'd play with the Going Global/world traveller suite of products in the Spring/Summer catalogue.

Here's how it went together -

Hope you liked!

This is what I made, using the Botanical Gardens DSP -

I like this paper SOOOO much.  To me it looks oriental, the colours are so rich...yummy!  What do you think?

Anyway, I shan't keep you as you probably want to see what's happening at the
or if you're a bit of a rebel and are going through the hop backwards, then take a look at the

In any case, I hope you enjoy the hop, and I hope to see you again soon.
