Butterfly Spinner

It's another kinetic card today, using the Affectionately Yours DSP.  The action happens when you open the card - so I'll let you watch the video tutorial before we go any further!

 

I would definitely recommend pulling the elastic as tight as you can, because with use it does stretch a bit.  

In response to a comment on one of my YouTube videos, I'll post a picture of my notes with the measurements here - I do hope you can understand my scribbles!  Leave me a comment to let me know if you find it helpful.

Butterfly easel card

Hello bloggists!  Well, that's Sale-A-Bration done and dusted for another year and what a great promotion it was.  I do hope you got lots of great stuff and are having lots of fun playing with your new goodies! Back to normal now, though (a bit like just after Christmas...)

I've been playing with Watercolour Wings and the companion die sets again.

It's not easy to see in the s picture, but this is a shaped easel card.  It's probably easier to see in the video, so here it is!  Hope you enjoy & see  you soon!

Love is like a...

There are some stamps (and dies) that you use for a while, but then they get put to the back of the cupboard (or sold  on).  There are others, though, that you know that you will never part with and will use and use and use. These are in the second category.

Every year Stampin' Up! retire some products to make way for new items, and it's always a bit nerve-wracking - will your favourites be in the catalogue next year?  There's nothing stopping you from continuing to use them, of course - but as a demo you can't really continue to showcase them (because it's not fair to tease your customers by showing them things they can't buy).

We don't know yet if these stamps and dies will be available next season.  I hope so.  But even if they do retire - I'm telling you now, I won't be selling mine on, I love them too much.

Fluttering Butterfly

Hello there and welcome!  Today's card features the Watercolour Wings butterflies stamp set and the Bold Butterfly thinlets dies.  Just about everyone likes butterflies and these stamps are proving very popular.
What do you think of the textured background card?  That started off as plain white or vanilla card - and doesn't it look good!

Orange Slice Gift Box
