Spinning Snowman!

Hello and welcome!

This month I will be celebrating my 5th Stampaversary.  I joined Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator in November 2014 and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions of my crafting life.  In honour of the occasions, I'm going to revisit some of my favourite and most popular projects.

I'm going to start with this Z-fold spinner card.  The original is one of my most popular tutorials.

Rainbow and Fluffy Clouds - Double z fold card

Hello everyone, and welcome!

If you've been following this blog, you probably already know that it's all a bit erratic at the mo' because of the MASSIVE declutter that's come about because of electrical work that needs doing.  All my spare time (after the day job) is taken up with exploring cupboards and deciding what to keep and what to chuck.  The amount of junk that can be accumulated over 20+ years in a one-bedroomed flat is truly awe-inspiring.  My husband has paid so many visits to the recycling centre that the workers are talking about inviting him to their Christmas party!

Anyway, I made this double-z fold card before it all kicked off.  SU don't have rainbow or clouds dies just now - so I improvised!  Here's how - 

Right, so I'm back to the decluttering.  I am planning a new and improved crafting space for myself when it's all done - so it'll be worth it!

Happy Tails Z-Fold Card

Hello everyone, and welcome!

It's a short and sweet project today.  I was away from home (because of my day job) yesterday and I lost track of what day it was as a result so I almost didn't post this at all!  

I made this upright Z-fold card a couple of weeks ago, before I damaged myself while attempting to cook (I cannot emphasise enough how dangerous cookery is.  It should be left to the professionals!).  The burn is healing nicely, BTW.  It doesn't look very attractive, though, so I'm keeping it covered with a wristband.

I admit to being a crazy cat lady, but today I'm letting the dogs out - well, the dog, anyway!  When I was a small child one of my favourite TV programmes featured the biggest spotty dog you ever did see" and that was one of the things in my mind when I chose to use the spotty pattern on my dog (that and a Dalmatian that took a fancy to my sister and followed her home a few times!)

This kind of fancy fold is easy to do, but surprising in the way it opens.  I hope you give it a try and have fun with it!
