Simply Sketched Saturday - 2

See the back layer? It's made using our Kraft card, which I've treated with glycerine and water to create a faux leather look.

Hanging about!

Hi everyone, thank you for calling!

We'll, that's Halloween done and we've got a short breathing space before we start building up to Christmas. For one of my "Dark Side" projects for the month-long blog hop I've just finished, I made a card with a dangling embellishment inside, so I thought I'd take the chance to show you how I did it.

Yes, that cat is spoiled rotten. Really, though, she was quite unwell not too long ago and I'm just happy she's well enough to be naughty. I'm not really such a soft touch. Well, perhaps a bit...

Rocking Santa

Hello blog friends - glad to see you!

I'm a day late with my blogging this week. The run-up to Halloween is always a busy time, and this year was no exception. If you've been dropping in to visit, you might have noticed that I've been busy (in my Other Persona) taking part in a month long blog hop. It was a real challenge and I think I've earned a bit of alien down!

Anyway, back to normal with this rocker card. I've used Home for Christmas and Lost Lagoon DSP and pleated the rosette on my Simply Scored board.

You might wonder why I haven't photographed the card in the mini studio - this is why -

As soon as she saw it being put up she did her world- famous impersonation of a cheetah and got in there. She's resisted all attempts at removal and is still there as I write. Hope she'll be out by next week!
