Snow scene

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today's project is a single layer card. This isn't something that I choose to make very often. In fact, because I am a bit of a rubbish stamper, I'm not usually brave enough to stamp directly onto my card background.

Today, though, I have been brave and this is the result!
See that lovely snowflake shape?  I made a stencil using a die from a new set that will be available only in November 2018. They are totally gorgeous, so be on the lookout for them!
I had some help with the stamping. I used my Stamparatus, which gave me the confidence to add the sentiment and the fir tree after I'd done the colouring. I would never have been brave enough to attempt the stamping without the Stamparatus as I would have been certain to stamp in the wrong spot or to smudge my work.  As I said, I'm a rubbish stamper

Here's how I made my card..

I'm very happy with the way it looks and I really hope you like it.

Keep crafting,

Keren

Meowy Christmas everyone!

Hi bloggists, and welcome.
OK, I'm a crazy cat lady.  And if you think I'm sorry for it, think again.
I like dogs as well - but I LOVE cats.  I've said before that this cheeky little pussycat reminds me so much of our Persian girl, Mysti.  (Her full registered name is Callymichanti Bootylicious but I couldn't face going to the vet and having them call out "Bootylicious Howell, please!"  So we called her Mystique - although Boadicea would have suited her...)  I coloured it as close as I could to her natural colouring (she's a lilac).  Here she is helping me to film -

Here's the tutorial -

Thanks for visiting and  I hope you'll come back soon!

O Christmas Tree

Hello bloggists, thank you so much for stopping by today.  I just want to take a minute to say thank you for your patience and supportive comments after Tuesday’s blog.  I really appreciate it.  For those who asked, the MIL is on the road to recovery and we are expecting her to be discharged to a rehab unit any time now.

It’s more of a normal post today.  I had lots of fun with this card.

I enjoy starting with a plain piece of paper or card and turning it into something, and this project is mostly card, ink and stamping.  I wonder if you can guess how I made the teeny-tiny fir cones?  They were a little bit fiddly but they are so sweet! Here’s the tutorial -

Thanks for visiting - hope you'll come again soon.

Leaf it out!

Hello Bloggists, and welcome to my blog.

When I get stuck for ideas, the catalogue is always a source of inspiration.

Today's card is my interpretation of one which is on page 131 of the annual catalogue. As you can see from the picture I changed it a bit!

Here's the tutorial-

I hope you enjoyed it!

See you soon,

Crafty hugs,

Keren.

PS - Don't forget my LIVE virtual workshop tomorrow (Wednesday 6 July) - kicking off about 7.30 p.m. BST.  See you there!
